About This Product
The sampler extracts intact soil cores held in a brass cylinder, which provides a sample of known volume so that bulk density can be determined. The cylinder and soil sample can also be placed in a pressure plate extractor or Tempe Cell apparatus, and the water-holding characteristics of the sample can be determined. Outside South Africa, the Bulk Density Kit can be supplied to Madagascar, Poland, Mali, Vietnam, Senegal and Samoa.
